Term 2 Week 9

Sorry, I have not been writing lately but I am now so please be grateful. :) . On Monday, I had an assembly (as usual), then we did some English. After Interval, we had A.L.C time and we played football.

Almost as good as this but not quite. Almost no one saw it but this is how I remember it.

 After lunch, we just did some math. YAY

 On Tuesday, we started Music tech. This so far is really fun. I am learning things on the keyboard, on the ukelele and learning some history of music. I am looking forward to learning about different types of music. Like forte, staccato, and so on. After the interval, I think we did some math and after lunch, I forgot what we did. But, after school, I found out that for my category, I got second in the science fair. YAY

 On Wednesday, Belmont came so we had a powhiri. I think that's three this year. Anyway, they met up with their host's and the host's met their billets. YAY

 On Thursday, it was school band, but there was no guitar lesson and no Jazz band. STINK! ON the bright side, at 7:00 pm there was a sick disco.

It wasn't as cool as this. IT WAS BETTER!!!

 On Friday, we had a farewell assembly for Belmont and the results from the Belmont/Te Awamutu intermediate sports exchange were revealed. There were 2 draws and the winners were TE AWAMUTU. YAY. The end score was 6-5. YAY WE WON. After interval, we had more tech arts. This was also fun.

And Yesterday, (Saturday, July 2nd), I got a haircut.
































Just kidding! This is my haircut. DO YOU LIKE IT?

Hey, guys. Just because we only had four days in this week, doesn't mean it wasn't as fun. On Tuesday, we had Food Tech. We learned that we were making our cafe a joint cafe with one recipe each, but it had to be really healthy, but still tasty. We also had to make our invitations, so because Jake was already inviting Mum, and my invitation was so complex that it could only be done once in the allotted timeframe, I decided to invite my best friend, (Sombat's) parents, Sor and Houth. Since they own a bakehouse and they are always giving me food, I decided to give them some of mine (And of course, the rest of the classes.) The only thing wrong with this plan is that I had no idea what I was going to make, (and being my unorganised self, I still don't.) Anyway,... I honestly can't remember what happened the rest of the day so, On Wednesday, I can only remember what happened in Jump Jam so I will just tell you what happened from there on. Camp Wellington!!! 🐼

Camp Wellington was finally here and I was so excited. I couldn't wait for all the new adventures to come. I enjoyed everything and found everything interesting in their own way. We learnt lots in the educational places like Parliament, Space Place, Wellington Museum and Te Papa. My favourite places would have to be Weta Workshop, Wellington Zoo, Space Place, Capital E, Snorkelling, and H20 Xtream. I loved Weta Workshop because I am a huge Middle Earth fan, (Lord of the Rings, and The Hobbit). I loved the Space Place because I already knew a lot about Space, but I learnt a lot more. I loved Wellington Zoo because I got to see so many new animals that I had not seen before and I got to get some souvenirs afterwards. Also because it was my birthday. I loved Capital E because I got to be a presenter in OnTV and that was a whole lot of fun. Term 1 Week 6 Reflections 🐼

Week 6 is finally here! Lot's have happened this week and here is some of it. On Monday it was a normal school day. But after school, we found out a little bit about our Makuhari student that we were going to have stay in our home. His name is Asuki and he is 15 yrs old. On Tuesday, we had a normal Tuesday. On Wednesday, we had a normal Wednesday. We did English, then Maths, and then Jump Jam. On Thursday, Asuki finally arrived. He is very tall and he is very interesting. I can't wait for what is coming in the future with his stay. On Friday, we held a Powhiri for the Makuhari students to welcome them into our school. All of the students were very happy and nervous to be at the powhiri. Those were my Week 6 reflections.
